However, after four seasons at the helm, Kyra Elzy has been relieved of her duties as head coach. Following Kentucky’s loss to Tennessee in the second round of the SEC Tournament, athletic director Mitch Barnhart made the call on Monday morning. Kentucky went just 12-20 this season, finishing 12th in the SEC. Under Elzy, the ‘Cats went 61-60 overall, 23-40 mark against SEC competition, and won the 2022 SEC Tournament.

Crazy to be sitting at .500, and just above .333 in SEC play and have won an SEC tournament. Tough, but honestly it was necessary after this season. Yall just weren't very good.
Hopefully yall make a solid hire and get it rolling.

She was flat awful. Besides the record there was continuous turmoil with suspensions and transfers.

While I like Mitchell, he was coaching pre-NIL and portal. Not sure how he handles all of that.
Was hoping we’d go after the Florida Gulf Coast coach, Molly Miller at Grand Canyon, or Transylvania’s HC.

Molly Miller is the hot up in comer coach in WBB. Even Tennessee fan base want her as the coach.

Apparently Payne was told yesterday he's gone, and it appears according to Crawford Musseman is their #1. That makes no sense to me, but he said Arky is tired of Muss. Not sure how that is a good thing for Louisville.

Muss has pissed off a couple big time boosters. I love him as a coach and what he’s done but it’s been said for months he’s leaving.

Anybody with a brain knows Beard aint coming to Arkansas with our cheap boosters. NIL money will be better at Ole Miss
Fans will say thats wrong but there is a reason we missed on Dickinson, Nelson, and Holland. And its NIL money.
Money folks are mad they went cheap and muss isn't kissing their ring and being their best friend.
We’re Arkansas so we will end up with a scrub coach after we cut our junk off letting Muss go to UL. We’re to uppity for Eric Muselman now apparently.
Folks forget we just gave Pittman another year but think we are capable of getting another coach of same caliber to replace Muss.

Muss lost two really good assistants to HC openings and its hurt him a bit. I still am nit completely sold on Beard. He got hot for two years then didn't sniff 20 wins again at Tech. Now i also admit we don't have a good recent body of work to show if he can build and sustain.
Muss had a down year and I’m sure he’s none to happy with the current NIL situation at Arkansas. Our AD hates NIL and has said we wont play the bidding war game.
We’re Arkansas so will screw it up somehow. We always do when we let boosters dictate employment. Last time we let them have a voice we hired Aggie Chad.
