Sumrall will go in dry on thecaw and ruin him for other coaches. You guys fricken amaze me. You get the best coach in college football. A GM to pay the children and you are all "aww shucks" we didn't get the guy with aids.

Frick yall and your 12 wins next season.

There will be 12 whining Florida fans on here when Florida once again failed to make it to a bowl game next season.

Learn to maths. Sumrall is 43-14 in 4 years of a head coach. 100% making it to the conference title game. 3 out of 4 championships.

The sec, sbc, or aac don't matter. Sumrall will win and the math backs it up.

You'll say... oh my but it was G5 football. Doesn't matter.

4 pages of Debbie Downer posts from theCAW? After Sunbelt Billy I get that you're a little nervous about G5 Jon but I figured you'd be excited about paying $3 million for little ole Georgia Tech's backup QB. Cheer up bro. You don't need Jaden Baugh anyway when you've got Buster and Fido on the payroll. Things are looking up!

If Sumrall didn’t keep Craddock employed he would be selling insurance somewhere

Truth is Florida is and always will be a mid program who will compete for a title here and there.

I take it you don't subscribe to what bear said about UF?

He always said IF UF ever got a good HC, they would be a power. Like us, they have made some bad hires. Sumrall may be a good hire for them. He was just outclassed in the talent dept. against Ole Miss.

not to mention that even power programs like bama can suck if they make bad hires

The pre Saban era feels like another lifetime but bama did have some years in the weeds where some would’ve trolled them saying they’re nothing without Bear Bryant

Now bama is truly a blueblood and premiere program but they’ve had moments where they were bottom feeders because of a dysfunctional AD and bad hires

As you mentioned, hiring quality coaches matter

don’t understand why these non-football schools will get some no-name like Sumrall and not give Dabo a call.
Florida thought they had Kiffin all locked up and let their guard down. When LK was hired at LSU, they didn't know what to do and started frantically scrambling around for "Sloppy Seconds" scraps.
