Finebaum is a large voice in the SEC. Not liked by most from what I can tell but he has info and opinions that get large reactions from SEC fanbases. Like it or not he is taking the time to visit and learn about the program and our spring game. We have 85+ recruits attending as well. He’s getting a good insider look at the program and facilities and traditions. Will help when he forms opinions during the season. He respects us enough to spend a weekend here.

That Daily Oklahoman article about Paul's trip in 2002 is kind of funny.
It was really hot and humid that day...
But Alabama is just as hot and more humid in September in September than Oklahoma is on average.
What I remember more about that weekend was all the Alabama RVs that came to town. Never had anything like that come to Norman before or since.

It appears you just defined Aggy football in that first paragraph. OU athletics runs circles around Aggy. As a whole, A&M athletics in the SEC is weak and garbage. I’d compare your athletics to a Dollar Tree discount store.

We haven’t been bullied by anyone. Our W/L record has been amongst the top in the conference since we joined; granted, it’s past time to just compete—we admittedly need to raise the bar.
I’ve no idea why Texas A&M leaving the B12 is now framed by y’all as running, yet the horns affiliating in a like manner is somehow admirable.
Undoubtedly both the Sooners’ and Horns’ fan bases are excited; they ought to be! Why that equates to shite talking a team who, a decade earlier, simply took the same steps y’all are presently taking is a head scratcher.
