Good for you, played in college?
Did military after college, came back walk-on at SLU and quit 6 games into it when I realized I just did not care anymore. It was no longer fun and I had no shot at NFL so focused on school transferred to LSU and never looked back.

So even though Bama will definitely have an easier schedule and better defense, Bama only has a ceiling of 10 wins and LSU's is 11?
Well, this is fun. Why not turn to page 4 when
DA started name calling like a 2 year old.
We were speaking about someone else mocking JL,at that point, it had nothing to do about PF.
Yawn. So you lose again.
It appears my memory is fine as is my manhood.
OTOH, you appear to be hiding something.
That would be not taking your shitty bait.
Now seriously, grow up.

LSU, as sorry as we were supposed to be, with a 4th string QB qith almost no experience whatsoever, and 2 know nothings at DC....
still took you to OT.
In 05 we should have beat you.
In 07 we should have beat you.
Our damn QB...

Bama was lucky to have that game to OT imo.

Well, sorry it did not work out. I've stayed close to LSU even though my time on the team didn't work either.
Got a couple buds still working at the FOC. I'm heading down there next week. I saw Ro and his kids there last time. Can't wait to see Chavis.
Anyway- this crap with these flamers- honestly,
it is childish.
And although they fail to mention it,I've offered not only fists but beers to a few. Some of these guys have accepted, some have not.
DA is actually a decent poster, but he sometimes can;t handle the truth.
Sucks to be him, I guess.

Alright, kinda changing the subject back close to the original post. Someone said Bama would get 9 wins if lucky. 8 if not. IMO there is a fine line this year. 9 wins is expected. 10 or more will be great. Less than 9...pretty disastrous. We should be able to sleep thru the season and get 8 wins.

Red, Duke just owned your arse.

I stated 8 or 9 wins. I'm skeptical at best against VT, LSU and Ole Miss.
And I'll say it once more. Saban loses a game every year he has no business losing. He's done it all his life, 15 years as a head coach, everywhere he's
gone.
Why does it piss you off when we tell you the truth?

Ross, you can't be serious.

Sounds awesome until you realize Saban is a better coach even after that. It's not that Miles is a bad coach, it's that Saban's a great college coach. Taking that Bama team to 12-0 was impressive, no matter the state of the SEC West.
There's no way the Tide wins the west other than when it's as down as it was last year. Saban's system, especially on offense, is too old-school to compete year in and year out in today's SEC.
If a Saban team comes out flat and gets behind, they lose more than 70% of time.
Witness past losses to UAB and ULM by Saban coached teams.
There's a REASON Saban has NEVER won ten games in back-to-back seasons.

How?
We were actually up 10-0 going into halftime.

Uh, what the hell?
It's not that I don't follow what you're saying, it's that it's a terrible insult.

Your sowing of endless flames and nonsense has reaped you the scorn of well-balanced posters across the spectrum of team allegiances. Its not just me.
Oh well, this little visit to the SEC Rant was....fun. Maybe I'll drop in again when the preseason polls come out. Maybe the Spring games....

Ok.... they can't open a tackle box without falling down.

This is what I mean. 9 wins are expected. The above games are the ones that I'd be satisfied to win 1/3. I hope it's more of course.

To me this is one of those meaningless stats. Sure he did it in his first year here already, but I don't believe this is for sure until he does it again
