Very few penalties on both teams.
Nothing game changing or during a pivotal part of the game.
There was contact on both sides that probably could have been called as pass interference but they allowed it.
Would love to get more consistency from crews from game to game.

You better hope you don't get Hubert Owens and crew. They throw flags every five minutes.

If you take away UGA's missed assignments by their DBs there was very good DB play on both sides of the ball. That Bakers guy for UGA is a stud.

At least Penn Wagers no longer referees. His crew will lose the game for you.

It was a good game. LSU clearly outplayed us. I hope we have another shot at you.

I agree 100%. I was saying this during the game. Lots of no calls both ways. I thought UGA got away with a few holds; LSU got called on one, but UGA got away with an identical hold where an OL tackled our guy. UGA and LSU both got away with a few pass interference calls. LSU got called on one, and Greedy earned it. For a moment I thought the refs were going to try to start influencing the game to keep the viewers tuned in, but they just let them play. Overall, that was my second favorite part of Saturday's game.

Hope you enjoyed it because it will not be that way Nov. 3 in Tiger Stadium.

It was very refreshing to watch a game with so few penalties.

Letting them play and being blind to obvious penalties are two very different things. No-calls on facemasks all day are dangerous.

It was definitely a clean game from the players and the refs. I enjoyed that they let em play. I swear, some games it seems like there is yellow on every snap.

See LSU vs Ole Miss this year...well, really it was just Ole Miss

Shocking. A gump trying to make a thread about the LSU/UGA about Bama.

Just like clockwork.

They need to learn the definition of "uncatchable ball" and apply it consistently.

If the receiver couldn't get to the ball only because he was held up by pass interference, that's not an uncatchable ball.

If the ball was thrown so that the only way it could be caught is out of bounds, that is an uncatchable ball.

“Let both teams play” is a term used by the team that didn’t get called for PI or holding. When the other team doesn’t get called, you say “the refs were paid”.

Are you guys starting to be embarrassed about your earned reputation for whining about the refs? Is that what this is, an attempt to paint yourselves in a better light?

I saw multiple threads on the score board started by LSU fans complaining about the calls in that game.

If some of you are trying to turn over a new leaf, I'll support it. But, like I always say, it's always the losers that whine about refs. I don't think it's a coincidence that LSU fans are suddenly ok with the officiating after a blowout upset win over the #2 team in the country.

This isn't unique to LSU. And on the rare occasion Bama loses, Facebook and social media are lit up by Bama fans complaining about every play in relation to the refs.

Bama's football team's shite doesn't stink, but that certainly doesn't apply to the fans, no matter how much you try to convince us otherwise.

To OP, I agree. It's nice when you almost forget the refs are there.
