That's the definition of an excuse, you dolt

Walking batters
fricking up the toss to the pitcher on an easy out
Throwing away a pickoff attempt

Do you know what people call these? Mental mistakes.

Do you know what the cause of mental mistakes is? Lack of focus.

Nah. I wouldn't be surprised if they go 2 & Q.

Their heads aren't in it, which happens when you're playing games that have zero bearing on your season.

See above. I'm sorry you don't understand that mental mistakes are caused by a lack of focus.

Those are not mental mistakes.you can be 100% and still screw those up.
A mental mistake would be not covering first on a bunt, not making a cut, getting picked while you're not paying attention, etc.

I would agree with this. Although they are referred to as mental mistakes all the time.

Great focus by the LSU pitcher to get out of that jam.

They're still mental mistakes. Booting a grounder isn't a mental mistake. Making a bad throw isn't a mental mistake.

Not charging an easy grounder and then double clutching the pitch is.
Throwing away a pick off attempt is.
Missing a fly ball, like the AU player did, is.

A pitcher throwing the ball away on a pickoff is, without a doubt, a mental mistake. Any mistake you make on a play that was unnecessary is a mental one.

You need to learn there's a difference between a fielder throwing to ball away on a play that has to be made and a pitcher choosing to pick off and throwing the ball away.

It's no different than a catcher attempting to throw behind a runner and throwing it away. That is a mental mistake as well.

I'm just showing my knowledge of the game, and that is what I was taught.

Like I just said, it's no different that a catcher throwing it away when attempting to throw behind a runner. Just like the pitcher, you're giving away bases on a poor decision. A poor decision is a mental mistake.

Are you going to try and tell me a poor decision isn't a mental mistake now? I really hope so.

Is every pick off attempt a mental mistake or just the ones you make a bad throw on?

Of course not, everybody knows you can't make a poor decision if you're focused.
