They will, but people seem to forget that Chad Morris is gone and the QB is injury prone. They have no one behind him that can play. For Clemson to make a run Watson has to stay healthy and a lot of young guys on D are going to have to step up.
I agree with everything you said, but I always kind of felt like Dabo was the main reason for their offensive success and Morris was more the star pupil. If/when Lashlee gets his chance and moves on, most people wouldn't expect the offense would completely disappear because of Gus...I think it's a similar situation.
Watson is healthy...I agree him staying that way is key. The same thing can probably be said for most teams. Their WR talent is as good as anyone's in the country.
The D definitely lost several star players and the young guys will need to step up. The talent is there though...they've recruited pretty well the last few years and Venables is a pretty damn good coach.
Schedule is manageable in conference with Fla St at home...toughest games might be OOC against SC and ND (home).
