Honestly surprised Tennessee fell that far for just one bad weekend. A&M in 1989 still finished #2 IIRC, which is probably the most apt comparison to this Tennessee team

I personally think Arkansas was the second best team in Omaha. They just got out on our side of the bracket unfortunately. They were the only team to beat us all post season

Agreed. I thought one of these might slide is in at #2 because that three game series between us was clearly the best and most competitive.
On a side note, congrats to Tennessee on your 5th place finish in the SEC. Pretty impressive considering some folks had you picked last in the East.

I believe Arkansas finished top 8 in some of these last year despite missing Omaha. #5 perhaps, IIRC.
