The SEC fears for its fave teams, who see the behemoth LSU rising, are what is driving this. They fear LSU under kiffin and under wade. That's all. Fear is the best motivator they say, even better than sex...

They need to fear the rulings on these lawsuits they're a party to. What if the outcome ends the existing structure of all college athletics? Sankey proved last week on the stand he can't see past his own micro peen. One of these judges are going to rule that all college players are technically professional and then the pay structures and collective bargaining comes in, and the SEC will eventually be dismissed by one large mega-league that can then recruit all the schools that can afford to maintain a football team past that point.

If they weren't scared they would stfu and declare all that dont meet ncaa rules ineligible. Reminder lsu still hasn't rostered them.
