Definitely!

Alabama average recruiting ranking: 1.75

Texas average recruiting ranking: 10

Let's call it a tie!

Young. Other than that the rosters are evenly matched.

We have a better roster in every category except edge. If you wanted to be nice you could give OL to Bama.

If Anthony Hill turns out to be Harold Perkins 2.0 this is a national championship team.

Do you honestly believe that? For example do you honestly believe ANY position on defense is better than Bama's. If so, you need to get off the sauce.

uTx has some skill on offense. Bama may have their best experience and talent on defense in some time, with a DC that isn't trying to get college kids to play like the 2015 Broncos.

Bama also has some skill on offense. You didn't show the UTx comparison there.

I'd wager the advantage is Bama in depth of talent that will actually see the field.

Add in a pretty significant home field advantage over the past 15 years, and I don't hate Bamas chances.

Sark as a play caller is the only thing that honesty has me on edge

He's a decent OC. However, they don't call him seven win steve for the fun of it. He's the definition of mediocrity as a HC.

We had a better interior DL than Bama last year per PFF, looks to continue this year.

Their corners were nothing special, all they do is hold. Bama turned Eli Ricks into an UDFA, won't be surprised to see Kool-aid tumble too.

We're better at safety because Catalon won't be hurt game 2.

If you count Dallas Turner as an edge player we have the better LBers, Jaylan Ford in particular is better than anything Bama has

Bama has a 90% blue chip ratio (% of players that were composite 4 or 5 stars). It’s the first team to achieve that mark.

Texas’s isn’t bad at 70%, but to state that those rosters are equally talented is verifiably false by any actual industry-related metrics

You are seriously smoking some shite. You must be one of those deluded Ketch subscribers. Its amazing how he can convince the masses to spend 9.95 for hopes and dreams.

BTW, that fool Golding is not the DC at Bama this year. You have no concept.

QB - 5*
RB - 5* Brooks is a low 4*
2 starting OL's 5* Jones 3* Hutson low 3* majors low 3* Connor low 3* Banks JR 5*
TE - 5*
WR Cook 5* actually 4*
WR Worthy 5* actually 4*
WR - Whittington - 5* actually a 4*
and I'm not even counting AD Mitchell probably coming off the bench. Mitchell was a 3* prospect that has done nothing.
