I live in baton rouge. We pick and make fun of each other. This is what I came to learn, most LSU fans are cool people. They are passionate about their sports but some can dish it out but can't take it.

I live in New Orleans. Alabama fans outnumber LSU with Tulane running a close second. No problems except when LSU wins... which is why I said "no problems."

I'm a Kentucky football fan. We have to worry about the basketball fans. It's like living in a parallel universe.

I moved to Bham from ATL in December of 2002

Have to admit that I have developed a case of "Bama fatigue"

I'm sure the vast majority of Auburn grads go to Atlanta. Even though New Orleans is heavy on Alabama and Ole Miss, they do have an Auburn watch party/alumni group down there.

They used to meet at one of those bars (not Bruno's) on Maple. Redd's? They may be at Cooter Brown's now though.

year 3 in CO, first time living in an area that isn't passionate or even care about college sports.

Surrounded by wealthy fossils, tree huggers and professional hipsters.. CFB not even on their radar.

Thanks for the laugh. Maybe if the only place you go in public is the Rusty Nail, you may be correct. Other than that, put down that crack pipe.

Probably the case with any big city, but I visit Atlanta often and I find it strange how the number of schools you see represented. Almost every SEC school has a number of fans there. It's interesting how UGA isn't really that dominant there. LSU dominates new orleans much more than UGA does Atlanta.

Do you honestly believe half the shite you post?

No one, and I mean no one believes that. I live in Nola, and neither Nola proper, nor the entire metro area has more gumps than tigers. LSU and Tulane are kings here. Gumps are a distant third, Ole Miss may even be better represented in Nola than Bama.

FIRST: LSU doesn't consider you an enemy.

SECOND: There are just aren't a lot of au fans outside of Alabama - it's just not a national brand.

i'm in memphis and the bulldogs are beginning to run the show as the OM fans have gone into hiding... once we get some corruption out of this city caused by rebels i fully expect it to be on Forbes best cities to live in 2020.

For the most part everything is fine. Funny thing is the worst group are the Bama women who didn't go there--or any college(HS.maybe) They are some rough, trashy folks. Guys are generally fine--Grad or not.
