He should apologize to you because you are obviously the most hurt by it. Damn dude, cry less.

Diddy the only real difference is the color jersey Fanning was wearing and like I said GM had a concussion. But hey some of you grab onto anything you can about Bama.

So I guess you never saw the play. Check out YouTube. Maybe they have a clip so you can re watch it.

Fanning is just a big strong dumb-arse. He's far from a polished player and may never become one if he doesn't listen and learn.
I still think it was a wasted scholarship. Time will tell.
Too bad we can't put Nick Jentry into LF's body.

Yes and gave him a concussion. Bell's was actually worse.
Fanning's was much worse, although I didn't really have a problem with it. Slamming someone down is OK, it just looked over the top since he slammed the Mizzou player down over his head.

Did bell pick him up and toss him over his head?

Fanning's is worse. It's plain as day.

No Fanning's is more awesome because he could actually lift the player up. Bell was just not strong enough to do what he wanted.

Fanning's Suplex
McElroy getting his "Bell" rung
After watching the videos, Fanning's looks much more dangerous. The fact that McElroy actually got concussed on the play would seem to indicate that Bell's was actually the more dangerous play
ETA: Another shot at full speed of Bell's sack

So his play is still a topic of interest. I guess I just don't understand.
Not many bama fans condoned his actions, and like Rasco on the same day, it looks like he just got caught up in the moment.

As you can see from bells first video, he was actually spun and not suplexed. The reason for mcelroys concuss was because of the speed of the play, but he actually hit shoulder first and had a lateral whiplash effect. Rather than fanning a straight down. Both were bad tackles, but fannings was something that could have been easily avoidable. Bells was a spin tackle which is taught as acceptable.

One group of tigers shockingly more represented in this thread than the other two.

You are missing the point. Some need more time to mourn.

The discussion revolves around the apparent refusal of some mizzou posters to accept his unprecedented public apology.
they would have if he wasn't seen celebrating and laughing after the play and having the play as his Twitter background.
Diddy preaching the truth.
Do I think he went into it planning to suplex someone? Or hurt someone? No. It was stupid, and unnecessary, and a really bad decision. Was he sorry? No, I don't think so, at least not when he sent the apology; that might have changed after practice today. But, he still did the right thing, and I admire Saban for forcing him to. Hopefully, he learns from this and doesn't do it again.
