Fake Injuries During Hurry-up: Auburn will be the first team flagged for it

Everyone has been complaining about this. I think UGA goes into some hurry-up and Auburn is the first team to actually get flagged for this, and we see the beginning of a new era. Where teams can't pussy out and fake injuries anymore.
Option 2 is UGA does the same thing, but so blatant and obnoxiously, that the refs absolutely have to call it. Early in the game when it doesn't matter. Then in the 2nd half, when Auburn tries to do it, it's auto-flagged. Bait the bitches.

Begs the question...has any team ever suffered any consequence at all for faking injuries?

The game is centered around player safety. There will never be a flag thrown for an injury, fake or not.

Like you were the first team to win a national championship in 1980?

I think the rules should be:
“If a player requires on field attention, the player shall not return to action until possession changes.”
“If a player requires on field attention twice, he must be held out for 2 possessions”
“If a player is shot from the stands like the brave Anthony Swain, the player she be awarded 20 points for his team.”

Nick Chubb fell down at the end of almost every play he was given the ball

Ironically, Anthony Swain missed the next game with a knee injury.

There will never be any penalty called or rule enforced that could actually encourage injury to a player...the NCAA is a business and they won't open themselves up to such liability risk.

As long as you can get away with it, it will be a strategy that teams use. Some are better at faking it better, but I have seen plenty of it when a defense is getting tired.

Honestly every injury should be a penalty. This is football not futbol.
Oh I’m sawwy, do you have an ouchie? Let’s stop everything and let you cry on the field about it for 5 minutes.
Get the frick off the field or 5 yards to the other team.

Congratulations! That's two stupid threads you authored that are on the front page. Go for that hat trick.
