I guess you don't feel bad for people that have strokes or heart attacks, either. You know, since you take a risk of having either by simply living...

People fall all over themselves to show how classy they are by expressing sympathy for an injured player, mere moments after swapping dick jokes/vitriolic bile/some combination of the two. In so doing, they often sound like someone consoling somebody who just lost a loved one, which is absurd. It comes off as pretty forced and insincere a lot of the time, imo.

I'm sorry the kid got hurt, and I feel bad for him. Do I need to put in a prayer request for him somewhere?

I don't get that attached to players and I don't pity them much, either. However, Jwill committed to Arkansas and immediately began recruiting his fellow teammates. Then he stayed throughout the Petrino scandal and remained positive throughout that time. IIRC, his mother literally sold everything they had and used the money to move her family to Fayetteville, because she didn't have the money to get them back home. So, I'm sorry if I seem sappy, but I really like Jwill, and after all he's been through, it does upset me to see him struggle more.

Is injuries at this point not part of football? You should feel bad for him because he's a big contributor on your team and can't do what he loves this year. You should feel bad for him because he has to take a step back. Not because of your phony no education line. Speak of that, what? Free education, free facilities, free coaching,[money in the pocket], everyone around you trying to get you to the next level. Are you fricked in the head?

I'm not sad that Jonathan Williams got injured. I'm sad that he now has to undergo major surgery to fix an injury he got playing for free.

I just hope his family can afford the medical bills and the rehab bills. Universities should really do something about this.

It's just part of life and he knew what he was getting into when he signed to play at Arkansas. Why feel sad about that? It's not shocking, or tragic. It's a part of life playing college football. Why so sappy?

The way players are exploited is both shocking and tragic.

He should've accepted the offer from UVA instead of Arkansas.

Did you lose your job or something? Is that what this is about because I'm struggling with why you would call a degree from the school you voluntarily attended "shitty." Sure it's not Vanderbilt level but there are a lot of places worse that you could have gone than the state school.

Exploited? God damn dude. STFU. Nobody is twisting any of these kids arms. They want to do it, and if they decide they don't then they leave. It's all very simple. Obviously the kids playing CFB see a great benefit to it or else they wouldn't be doing it:

exactly....If he doesn't put the work in to get an education he's STILL getting trained by professional trainers to make millions of dollars in the NFL. Your an angry individual OP.... I ain't mad about it though, it's funny how angry you are.

How is it shocking or tragic? It's been going on for over a 100 years. How do they not know what they are doing when coming to a college?

Should we hold a candle vigil over their shitty education and playing college football? Let me know when you hold one.

Are you going to protest by not watching them play?

Have you burned all your Arkansas gear to show support for the exploited players?

What are you doing to help them? Be sad for them? You don't really care, you haven't done a damn thing to change what you consider an injustice.
