Ummmm, yes you can and should hold Jimbo accountable for how he left FSU. Not sure why he gets a pass but others in the exact same situation don’t.
He left FSU in dire straights. One QB injury should not break a elite coach’s season, let alone send the entire program into a death spiral.
As I pointed out above, it's just plain myth that he left FSU worse than he inherited it.
Bowden was a legendary coach, but there is a reason why FSU was pushing him out the door.
You guys are just pissing and wishing.

Actually 5-6.
Went 14-13 vs the ACC his last 3 seasons combined.

Because of his ties to Saban and his history of being a very good offensive coach. Saban once called him the best offensive coordinator he’s ever had. This was before Sark.
And I think Jimbo is a good offensive coach, in a very outdated system. Which essentially makes him a bad offensive coach at the same time, because he’s unwilling to change.
But other than that, you make a lot of great points and it’s hard to disagree.

Jimbo isn’t even a quarter of the man Chizik is. Jimbo sold his soul for that title with that world class piece of shite rapist. I know , I know it’s all sour grapes because we lost to FSU but come on Winston is POS and Jimbo put up with his sorry arse. Ran that program into the dirt and hauled arse to Aggie.

But FSU still had plenty of talent and was a good program overall when he left. The coaches that followed have done a terrible job.
Maybe but FSU's AD at the time threw Jimbo under the bus saying that he did not recruit well in his last couple of years. Usually don't see an AD publicly trash a former coach like that

Ok, the team went 7-6, but sure you don't have to give him credit for the big wins over LA Monroe and Southern Miss.

Bowdens record vs ACC his last 3 seasons combined: 13-11
Jimbo's actual record: 14-10. And the 2 years before that he had 0 conferences losses, so he was 30-10 over his last 5.

Why would you give him credit?
He wasn't there.

AD is full of shite. He threw the players under the bus.
Recruiting Ranks:
2017: #6 - even though he left.
2016: #3
2015: #3
2014: #4
2018: #11
2019: #18
2020: #22
It's just dumb to blame Jimbo for FSU.

Don't give it to him, I don't care. It doesn't really change anything. I just looked at how the team did the for the year.
But it is funny coming from the dipshit who is blaming every game after those 2 on him.

Ed Orgeron: 49-42 (.538)
Jimbo Fisher: 98-32 (.742)
I mean, that's probably why they aren't mentioned in the same breath. Fisher is clearly above the other two.
One of these guys took over an elite program in his forst job, the other two started at Iowa State and Ole Miss. Not really apples to apples IMO. And Orgeron, for as bad as his record was at Ole Miss, left Houston Nutt a lot of talent to go 18-6 the next two years before the bottom fell out

According to LSU fans, this is the record of an elite program.
2005: 8-5
2006: 7-6
2007: 7-6
2008: 9-4
2009: 7-6
Then again, you guys still think 2019 was the greatest ever, so I guess this explains a lot.

Compare them to Iowa State and Ole Miss. Those two programs weren't even in the same universe as Florida State.
Iowa State the 5 years before Chizick
2002 7-7
2003 2-10
2004 7-5
2005 7-5
2006 4-8
Iowa State Recruting rankings the 5 years before Chizick
2002 38
2003 56
2004 46
2005 51
2006 42
Ole Miss record the 5 years before Orgeron (they also had Eli Manning at QB for 3 of those years)
2000 7-5
2001 7-4
2002 7-6
2003 10-3
2004 4-7
Ole Miss recruiting rankings the 5 years before Orgeron
2000 41
2001 23 (the year Eli was signed)
2002 23
2003 34
2004 33
FSU recruiting rankings the 5 years before Jimbo took over
2005 2
2006 4
2007 20
2008 12
2009 11
Fisher walked into FSU with Christian Ponder at QB and EJ Manual backing him up, both 1st round draft picks. Ed had Michael Spurlock who played WR at the next level and a walk-on Ethan Flatt backing him up. I couldn't name a single person on Iowa State's roster and neither could you without googling it. Not to mention Fisher had been at FSU for 3 years before he took over as HCIW and likely doing a lot of the day-to-day while Bowden chilled in his golf cart
