Honestly given population growth as well as tv growth in general I'm surprised 1998 had more viewers.

Well, it includes a team from swamp people, which only appeals to a few of the demographics.

you’re a moron... I’d like the help you out, but your too stupid to. LSU has been a national brand for decades up decade. Nice try though... you should have that moron thing checked out there’s wonderful advances in medicine these days.

You Aggies are big mad that you’re athletic program is completely fricking irrelevant.
7-5 football season in the BumJuice.com bowl. Zero shot at even an NIT bid in basketball. Must be awful

I think it bothers yall more than it does us.

When did the game move to Monday night during a work week, instead of being a holiday/weekend bowl game?

Two very small TV markets. USC is in the largest or second largest TV market. Texas is in between two of the largest TV markets. Not rocket science.
This year was Also influenced by being broadcast on ESPN rather than one of the non cable broadcast channels
Does not really have anything to do with a national brand IMO
In 2018 the ridiculous no call and no review at the end of the Saints LA Rams game was probably influenced by the size of the LA TV market and the teams spending $2 billion on a stadium.

All I get from the ratings is that the title game needs more Georgia Bulldogs.

Or...if you notice, there is another common denominator that allows you to add 2 more games.
Clemson.
Clemson.

Odd how USC has only two appearances, one at the top and one at the bottom of the list?

Some conclusions: LSU has beaten the fricking shite out of the last 2 teams we’ve beaten in the national championship, and 2011 was the most boring national championship game in college football history. The ratings are a byproduct of the quality of game we’ve played (all blowouts), not our brand. You are a huge dumbass

You can double LSU’s numbers for 2019.
What an idiot! Surprise you were smart enough to even link one network but conveniently forget the other
