Some conclusions: LSU (and Clemson) don't have the national brand to pull a bigger audience.
Emmert and ESPN execs will take notice. CFB is not in the sports business but in the television business. LSU (and Clemson) are bad for business.

Damn I am so upset that there were a few less million people watching my team win multiple championships as opposed to other teams.

And yet, LSU/Clemson was watched by more folks than 2 out of the last 3 times Alabama played. Hmmmm.

Y’all are some melty bitches.

2019 - people were tired of seeing Clemson
2011 - people outside of the south weren’t interested in an SEC regular season rematch
2003 - the #1 ranked team in both the AP and Coaches polls was left out of the BCS title game
2007 - idk. Maybe because LSU had 2 losses?

Looks like people didn't want to watch Bama. That's why ratings were better this year even with the extra long gap with the game being a week later than usual.

That's because they expect LSU to curb stomp their foes..

Thus call their BMs, take their lady out for dinner & a flick..

Then check the boxscore in the AM, to see if their props did as well as their side & totals.

I don’t think I can start a post about aggy TV ratings in the natty without laughing.

It’s been 80 years for you guys. Pearl Harbor wasn’t bombed yet. That’s pretty much all you need to know to get the timeframe right.

I think it’s due to circumstances for each game

2003 Oklahoma had gotten shellacked in the big 12 title but made the bcsnc anyway

2007 two loss LSU vs an overmatched Ohio St

2011 a bullshite dud rematch

2019 eh, my only guess is people thought it might not be close

Duh, ya think!!!

Hey dumbshit, when the outcome of the game is for the most part known already “3-1” when playing in the title game. Why watch the inevitable, when you know the outcome might as well do something more productive!
