What racial injustice was there? I still can't find that answer.

you mean they'ed fire the HC and tell the players that didn't want to practice they are out of program, right?

one of their main points is, due to all the white students on campus, they have to see a lot of white faces walking around, and that's "oppressive".
this is why you don't actually really listen to these morons, you just nod your head at them and say "yea ok", "we hear you" and move on.

There's pockets of racist idiots on LSU's campus and nothing has ever come of it. Down here in the south we come together as family no matter our skin color or ethnicity. Maybe y'all up there should try to teach that when you raise your children.
This. And it goes beyond racism. Jackie Walker was an All-American LB at Tennessee 1969-71. He was black and gay, his teammates knew he was gay, and not one of them gave a frick. Compare that with the actions of the attention whore Michael Sam.
There's a reason why this shite doesn't happen at other schools.

That's not relevant to this thread. If you wanted that answer Im sure you can find it in any of the other threads on the subject.

It's about football and basketball. Any coach would have trouble recruiting with the current situation. If you're a Mizzou fan it's a double win. You don't have to worry about recruiting and you look good to the academic establishment.
Do you want to be more like Bob Jones University or Yale? Your choice.

They would have fired their president a long time ago. This is all on him. His resignation stemming from this isn't just from how poorly he handled this latest situation. This is from my understanding the straw that broke the camels back with this guy. Plenty of Mizzou alums on here can fill in the details if you are interested.

You're wrong. Ole Miss would have also given them free Chickfila for the rest of the semester and watched the queers get riled up about it.

I agree with you. That's why I can't understanding caving to them. frick 'em.
We used to say "rub some dirt on it", toughen up or put your big girl panties on. These kids heard someone say the N word. Big deal. It's on nearly every rap video out there, every black comedian says it and it's in every black movie all said by black people. Crazy town has to be destroyed.

I know, I know. Spell check is a thorn in my side 99.9% of the time. The shite it changes things to is just mind boggling.

Actually it is relevant to me as if there was no injustice and just some whining then I would hope the UF admin would have had a meeting with the cry babies and told them to stop crying.

Yeah, but the first straw with a lot of those students was the pres not speaking out in support of them during Ferguson. We're dealing with a different breed at Mizzou. Many of them no doubt believe that Brown was victim and a poor innocent "kid". When you're dealing with someone who starts their list of grievances from that position, you're in a hopeless position.
This is why these racial issues in places like Missouri won't change anytime soon. Black Lives Matter??? Seriously? Black lives don't mean shite to black gangbangers and criminals, and they don't mean shite to liberal politicians and black activists who continue to refuse to point that out.

No. We are not chicken shite. Bama had a sorority that straight up said they won't accept black females. Top that.

Did the football players strike and say they wouldn't play until the university pres was fired?
If not, its not comparable.

You are a fricking moron. If you cant understand the cultural differences between the late 60s and 2012 you are an idiot.

You are missing the point. Whether or not you or I believe there were any grievances the protestors did and that was the reason for the players going on strike.
Which turned into a huge national story. Again, picked up by the overwhelmingly liberal media with almost universal support.
Get it? Perception is reality.
Again, this has nothing to do with what is just. It has everything to do with the current climate in our society. Mizzou did what had to be done, and what every other school would have done.
You guys can pump all the southern bravado out you want, but you are simply wrong.
