In Mid-June of 2026 the most heated fan banter on the Rant would be between LSU and Georgia fans.
Did not see this coming but it’s happening at full force.

UGA is celebrating a fantastic double-SEC championship season while LSU fans are just cheering for every team in omaha that loses to make themselves feel better. The last 48 hours has been pretty one sided with LSU fans doing what they always do and UGA fans looking around like "umm, ok?"

Having the best team, getting that close to the mountain top and losing is a gut punch.
I know how much it hurt when we had 6 titles in the rearview. I can’t imagine the pain with only 1 that is 35 years in the rearview.

That said, I should also say there were several complimentary threads started by LSU fans about Georgia, as well. We all tend to focus on the negative stuff and let that bother us, and not see or remember the nice things, sometimes.
