Lets compare roster cost and staff salaries, then ask the boosters who the pressure is on.

Exactly the pressure is on him... he left this university to go to a place where he could be "different" if he can't beat that team he just left he is gonna get dragged, rightfully so..

He can say whatever he wants, but nobody believes that shite.
Certainly the boosters that supposedly paid 40+ mil for that roster aren’t thinking this way.
Lane is the new Jimbo. It doesn’t always pay to have the most amount of money thrown at you since the expectations and pressure come with it.

I am sure he himself feels pressure to win, but that message was for his players. A loss on the road to a top 10 team doesn’t ruin their season, all of their championship goals would still be attainable.
