That's funny considering that most of the state of LA vacations in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach during the summer. I've met lots of people from LA on trails in parks in AL during the cooler months. You guys love the State of Alabama, you just hate the football team.

Huntsville is one of the Rocket/Aerospace Hubs of the country.
Austal/BAE/Brookley in Mobile have big Military/Defense/Civilian ship and jet manufacturing contracts.
Good BBQ at Dreamland.
Nice beaches from Gulf Shores east over to Orange Beach.
