Exactly.
There are 8 different institutions associated with LSU. Most fans have some degree of attachment to the university in one way or another because the reach is wide.

Schools that don’t have sidewalk fans aren’t worth having sidewalk fans for a reason.
You have to earn sidewalk fans.
There are folks up from Mooresville NC to Sanford NC that have Clemson shirts because they won……a lot.
