Exactly. The game everyone wanted to happen was OSU/UGA and we got a great game. OSU screwed the pooch so it wasn't for the title but there were tons of threads after that game where people knew the national championship had just happened.
There are 3-5 teams most years who can win it all. Some other teams may get in or get close, but just don't have the talent top to bottom to be there

Didnt even make the big title game, TCU put it to Michigan who out it to OSU.
Tcu was the #2 team.
