I'm sure this is 100% true and accurate.

Possibly. But I will never concede that a team that hits .248 for the season is the best team in college baseball.

Because people were bitching about all the home runs and the bats making them look like better players than they were.

I didn't say they were the best team.

The "best team" doesn't always win in playoff scenarios, no matter the sport.

#failstate didn't lose the series because of the park, they lost because UCLA is a better team.

Accept it. Live it.

And this is the part where you are a moron and cannot resist the urge to troll.

When did I say that UCLA didn't win because they were better? For that matter I'll tell you how they were better. They adjusted their strategy to play the way they did. We did not and got beat hitting balls to the warning track.

Regardless of that would you not agree that a pitcher should be punished for leaving a curve ball or fastball high in the zone? Most would as it's a mistake pitch in 90% of the stadiums and leagues once a player gets into the high school or higher divisions. And all I'm saying is that there's a disparity between the results of a "mistake" pitch in TDA as opposed to alot of other stadiums.

Good. It is sheer stupidity that the CWS is played at the same place year after year. NCAAF rotates, the Final Four moves around...why the hell not move the CWS around?

Sure, and if the batting team is good, they can punish those types of pitches through hits other than just home runs.

It was frustrating to see a player pole the heck out of the ball and still couldn't get it over the fence.

Some homers sure would have made the games more fun!

We're talking about squared up, solidly hit mistake pitches that would have been home runs anywhere else.

no, if the batter is good, he should be able to punish a mistake pitch with a home run or deep shot into the gaps. If the batter is like me, 5'6" and a buck thirty soaking wet he should punish those pitches with line drives to the outfield.

That's because South Carolina was not in the finals for the first time in three years. Let's face it, we're America's team.

Meh. Make adjustments. It's the hallmark of good teams.

so what you're saying is that any team that plays a certain way that would be successful in 98% of all baseball stadiums has to change their way of play in the 2% stadium. well judging from the past week, my team should have adapted. I don't think that should be the case though. LSU, NC doesnt matter who is playing should be able to be successful playing their style of ball.

NCAA committed to City of Omaha a 25 year deal to stay there in order for the city to build the new stadium. ESPN will have to wait at least 22 more years before they can demand anything.

So... games should be suspended due to wind as well?

Since #failstate shouldn't have to adjust to the stadium after all and none of your fans were bitching about the stadium and conditions when you were unbeaten going into the final series...

I wasn't saying that they adapted their game when they got there this year, I said they adapted the way they play, That, according to the blowhard commentators, was a process that started 3 years ago or so, basically after their first trip to TDA. It was said that they did that specifically to be successful in that park. But hey, continue to look for sour grapes. You won't find any here, we got beaten because we couldn't/wouldn't adapt.
