I think so? What does that have to do with them not playing either of us anymore?

What was the score the last time TAMU and Texas got together? It was in their own house on the biggest night of the school's history, wasn't it?

Our AD tried to schedule them. They said no, so we scheduled Alabama instead.

You make it sound like fear but TAMU destroyed the sooners in the Cotton Bowl. TAMU and texas got into a pizzing contest and like Nebraska and Missouri decided to take their talents elsewhere.

In TAMU's case, they hit the lotto. They are now in the highest-profile conference and division of college football there is. Texas has floundered like a fish out of water while Oklahoma does laps around the big 1 and little 9 teams. The Big 12 has becomes the ACC in football mightiness and TAMU is flexing their muscles in anticipation of perhaps their best years ahead.

TAMU's "muscles"?

Some Oranges? Oklahoma & UT have won a championship more recently than TAMU. Not really much for A&M to flex. A&M can flex their division competitors achievements, I guess. Since Alabama, Auburn, and LSU have won something of value. But we already know they dickride others accomplishments.

It was literally the single worst decade in Texas football history, while concurrently the single greatest in Texas a&m history, and they accomplished the same amount of NY6 bowl wins. In fact, Texas actually played for a conference championship and Texas a&m did not

I don't think you know what you're talking about... it's fairly obvious

As opposed to Texas who's football program has totally disintegrated in the last 12 years?

The reality is that Alabama broke texas in 2009. They have never come close to the same program. For the last 12 years, they have been out recruited, outplayed, and outcoached in their own conference.

TAMU has smoked texas for elite recruits in that time frame. I'm just glad the SEC west hasn't had to be subjected to these shorthorns for the last 12 years.

Its really nothing new for us. We are always near the top of that list for some reason

Because Auburn plays Alabama and Georgia every year. Right Now Georgia is usually highly ranked and well Bama is always in the top 5. Auburn playing Bama moves their schedule up the list much more than Bama playing Auburn.

a 6 and 6 GaTech team in the ACC has played in their conference championship game as well. Congrats texas for absolutely nothing.

Lmao Bama will beat Florida by 30+ even in Gainesville.

Y’all have nothing to worry about when it comes to Florida.

Had the Aggies stayed in the XII, they just might have had an opportunity for contending for conference titles

Are we still perpetuating this myth?

A&M has had more 5-star players in the last 8 classes than the previous 20 combined.

You do know that Texas doesn't have a losing record to one single Big 12 school, right? Jeez... some of you posters need access to google or something. This is literally too easy

Oh noooooooos, you called us shorthorns! How ever will I respond to such a legendary diss???

Btw, you might want to go back look at each class's recruiting rankings over the past 12 years. That would prove your first quoted sentence dead wrong.

Well aware. It's why we've hired a new coach. It's also funny to watch A&M prance like they're some sort of powerhouse, with their new daddies coming to their aid online, only to realize they also haven't won shite in 10 years.

I'm sure the 3rd new coach since Mack Brown will do better than the previous two...

Conference titles are meaningless only to Alabama because they have won two of their six under Saban without the need to win the SEC. For everyone else, a conference title, whether XII or SEC, is needed to be in the CFP.

In other words, we're texas, don't confuse us with the facts. You have better hope and pray that your brand new HC has brought some of that SEC West magic with him. Yeah, we see how badly texas wants what TAMU has.
