Plus, he didn't even mention Darius Slay. He'll probably be our top true cover CB.

LSU will have the best secondary in the SEC by far. In fact, they will have the best secondary in the nation.

Interesting.

I am not sure what to do in this position w/an LSU fan.

I understand.

Look, i LOVE LSU and will cheer like hell for them in every game. But, I see no harm in acknowledging that there are other excellent teams out there. Arkansas can be incredibly good this season.

I actually LIKE that. I always liked having UF as LSU's permanent East opponent and wanted Bama to return to elite.

i like battling good teams and the anxiety of the week leading up to a huge game.

I want to beat Arky by 3 TDs this season. But, I certainly realize that ain't gonna be easy

Florida's secondary, IMO, is underrated.

Everyone that will play this year has played solidly for at least 1 year.

They did get beat up on pretty bad last year though

It's dangerous work getting arrested all the time.

Funny there's no Auburn fans in this thread chest bumping each other.

Any other thread, they're the 1st to post.

Worthless.

I tend to disagree.

I will say that I wouldn't take any other secondary in the nation to LSU. Mathieu, Reid, Loston etc. are just plain fun to watch play.

The more rankings that come out, the more intrigued I am about a certain team.

Is there a site that lists the number of ESPN 150 pickups by Florida for, say, the last 3 years?

I'm sorry, but Florida not being in the top 5 is a joke. I don't care if the lost Jenkins. I don't care if they have a new coach.

They had the #2 passing D in the conference last year and they are Florida, meaning they have the talent. Plus, their new coach is a defensive guy who turned Texas' secondary around in a year.

Florida will have a very good secondary.

Arkansas? 6th in the conference last year. Tennessee? 8th. South Carolina? 10th (what a joke). Vandy? 7th.

Could LSU have back to back Thorpe winners? It's very possible if Claiborne and Mathieu just ball out and do their thing.

#2 in the SEC to LSU. Better than Bama's.
