Perry would beg to differ.

I thank you for that though. If we got him we would wouldnt have fired Anderson and then gotten Muss.

So thank you so so much

South Carolina: It hasnt been a good place to play mens basketball in years (since the late 60's early 70's ) minus the few Fogler years.

That said Frank gave fans hope that USC could win games. He also has single handedly turned it into a dark place to want to be. the final 4 feels so long ago, but was only 4 or 5 years ago. He just is a boring coach who is an a-hole to his players and nobody wants to play for him. The final 4 was a really awesome moment, but he managed to somehow regress from the norm almost instantly

I feel like your assistant being involved in the FBI pay for play scandal counts.

My current coach has coached in the NBA (finished 2nd to Pop for COTY one year) for two teams.

you neglect to mention that he had an under .500 record that season (just like every season he coached in the NBA), and he was fired after the next season for squandering a lot of talent on those Warriors teams

He landed in Sacramento a couple years later, IMMEDIATELY got arrested for a DUI. Took what up to that point had been a solid franchise in the 00s and in one season managed to turn them into such a laughing stock that they still haven't recovered. And he got fired after that one season

He’s coached multiple times in the NBA hahaha so yea Umm not sure the point.

Getting runner up COTY in the NBA means he obviously was respected by people that cover the game. He still talks with NBA coaches weekly. When has your coach even gotten an interview in the NBA? Maybe they know he can’t cheat for recruits in the NBA?

Also NBA coaches can only play with the talent the Gm gets. Check to see who Sacramento had when he was there buddy.

I know Auburn fans are new to this thing called basketball

6 years coaching college ball.

Two sweet 16s and an elite 8 and one of those seasons cut short due to Covid.

Come at me boy

Fun fact:
Arkansas has been relevant for 1 season this millennia.

We finally got a good coach coon.

Just paid the man as well.

We back. Preseason top 12 after an elite 8.

Only Kentucky is above us

He got fired TWICE in THREE seasons, then couldn't find another job for 3 years until the D-League was desperate for coaches back when they put no resources at all into that league. So respected that as a former NBA HC he had to get started in college ball as an assistant, same as 20something recent GAs. Such respect for his NBA coaching skills

But hey man, at least he has that winning record in the D-League and in *checks notes* the CBA (Continental Basketball Association, not the Canadian like you would've thought and honestly would've been more impressive)

Getting the opportunity to coach in the NBA is something 99% of college coaches don’t even get.

They have all failed.

Yes Muss had a drinking problem at that time in his life. Well documented and the reason he doesn’t drink anymore. You coach can’t even get an interview but that could be because he can’t eat BBQ

Carry on though.

Trying to convince you of what?

The NBA coaches he talks to weekly? He talks to the current NBA COtY weekly.

The respect that people who cover the game have for Muss?

You might want to look him up cause Hog basketball will be on a roll until the NBA or UCLA calls

Let me know when you coach can even get another college to give him or his agent a call. Much less an NBA interview

Yikes. Imagine having to worry about your coach leaving for UCLA. Two coaches in this league in the top two tiers have turned them down in the last 36 months.

But it wasn't a "pay-for-play" situation. He was steering players to an agent.
