You can thank LSU for that. As I watched the end of the game I told my son this will guarantee Notre Dame a spot in the Top 10 next year. Thanks Les.

LSU has 2 DBs that are projected 1st rounders in the next NFL draft
not sure what's funny about thinking we have the best DBs in the country. It's pretty well known Corey is one of the best DB recruiters and coaches in the country. Unless you don't pay attention to that sort of thing.

Notre Dame is not that good I think. Arkansas, darn it, is not that good. LSU is better then people think if they can solve their QB issues.

Baylor obviously doesn't belong but the easy schedule is probably what they're looking at.

Mississippi State got Lewis and Peters, they should be top 3.

True or false
Baylor finishes with more wins than LSU and A&M?
Posted on 2/8/15 at 8:15 pm to Old Sarge
Tennessee is too high. I would put us more around the 20-25 range.

I'd rather start the season unranked honestly. And then earn our way into the top 25

True for A&M, false for LSU

But our offense is going to be down while LSU has all the best talent and Auburn is the only team that improves at every position . What the Gene Chizik am I reading here? Will certainly read Les.

You a betting man?

About as bad as saban did last year with the last nine #1 ranked recruiting classes.

Well we have a better team than you (again). Hard to say what's going to happen in the big12 though. Baylor could well run the table and us go 11-1

I'm late to this thread so I'm sure it's been said, but LSU is WAAAAY too high.
Offense:
- Skill positions can go up against anyone in the country and hold their own. Anyone who questions that is dumb. No way around that.
- Oline should be a strength, but is not a known by any measure. LOTS of depth and talent, but experience is a bit questionable.
- Now to the obvious problem. QB is still a major problem, and that alone could keep LSU out of contention. Even average play from this position however, and LSU is right in the mix.
Defense:
- Loaded with talent. Not even the most skilled trolls can question this. LSU returns talent at every level, and the two DE's leaving are more than replaceable. The biggest question mark, at this point, is Kevin Steele.
- DLine returns all 2 deep DT's and will be replacing 2 DE's that were mediocre at best. I expect similar production in 2015 as there was in 2014.
- Kwon Alexander is out at LB, but LSU will be replacing him with a RS soph or JR. Beckwith and Louis both return at the other two spots, along with the rest of the 2 deep.
- LSU loses Martin and Collins from the backfield, but anyone questioning the talent LSU has stockpiled just has to look at the recruiting and experience LSU is returning.
Overall, I expect LSU to be in the mix next year, but I'm not sold on the QB situation or Steele replacing Chavis. 10-2 is what I expect. Losses to Bama and one of OM and Arky.

A&M finishes higher than LSU for sure. LSU will be average again next year. Is this like your prediction with AU and LSU this past year? How did that go by the way? Did we have a bet and you failed to honor it? I think so...bitch.

Who are you? And how did you get access to RB's computer?

Unlikely, as we have better players than they do.

You realize Auburn had the same record as LSU last year, right?

Unfortunately for A&M that was my one wrong prediction for the 2010's

Yes and every time you bring it up it warms my heart as I know how much it upsets you

LSU drops more than just two games. That is ridiculous. Quarterback trouble alone will cost them an early game in the schedule, most likely one of State and Auburn. Probable losses to Alabama and Ole Miss in oxford are also highly possible. Three to Four losses is the most likely scenario, similar to last year.
