Kyle Carpenter
Or
Connor Shaw would be my picks. Shaw has already said he would be at the game. Chesney probably paid ESPN to do it so he could whore out his new album

THEN, they one up that gaff with fricking Kenny Chesney as the guest picker (Chesney's only connection is to UTk, so who the frick knows).

Worst was still from Wrigley Field in 2010 and it's not even close.
That game was so freaking stupid that both offenses had to move the same direction and flip sides after every series.

Kenny thinks they are bros. OBC probably hates him.

Eh Kenny's music seems right up OBC's alley.

Forget Shaw, have Garcia on there if you are going to do former players.

Kyle Carpenter, Stephen Colbert, or Aziz Ansari should have been our only choices on the celebrity picker.

Also, they've used that Clemson background all year I'm pretty sure.
Still terrible, considering we're rivals.

I'd rather they go to a service academy, Ivy League school, or some random small school than this snooze fest.
Even the power 5 schools have more compelling games than this.
Tennessee - Georgia
USF - Wisconsin
Stanford - Washington
Arkansas - A&M

Yeah I still don't understand. They forego UGA/South Carolina to go to NDSU. Then they forego literally any other game to come to Mizzou/South Carolina after they both had bad games?

The Georgia - South Carolina game was certainly a head scratcher.
Honestly, I blame Missouri. Had they not shite the bed against Indiana, this would have had my attention.

I view them as a nuisance on campus now.

I no longer watch CGD like I used to in years past.
Didn't realize that until reading this thread.
I'll flip over to 'em during commercials; otherwise, my TVs stay tuned to the SECN on Saturday mornings.
Hosting CGD is nuthin' at all ... and often a logistical hassle.
Kinda surprising that the Ole Miss kids are salivating over the possible visit like they are.

They've never had it. It's like some kind of championship for them.

As I said before, the university shouldn't turn it down, per se, but this isn't the best game of the weekend, nor is it the best game that USC is/has played this season. It could wind up settling who from the East goes to Atlanta, but still.
And Kenny Chesney can go to hell. He's in Kyle Carpenter's spot.

I agree the 3 hour format is too long. I get tired of the personal interest stories.
I think the Arky/A&M game would have been a better pick.

Can you imagine Denny Chimes in the promo for Auburn? Auburn would never let ESPN on campus ever again. If you want to see the reaction youtube Auburn fans & Mark Schlabach in 2010.
