If they lose to Villanova Monday, they are in deep deep shite.
they should be... but don't worry the selection committee will find a way to get them in the tourney.

think I read yesterday night that Arizona may be screwed since they've lost to both you and Cal
They will get in because of their name. They got in with 14 losses 3 years ago I believe. The whole selection process is a joke... it has more to do with name than resume.
Cal's BPI is 18, Arizona is 32, Wash is 55. I think you need to win the conference.

Washington and Cal are in better position according to the "experts."

Daily Bracket has Cal seeded 7, Washington 9, Ariz 11. FWIW as of 2/19

Like I said, Washington and Cal are in better position. Washington has a season sweep over them I do believe.

Where do u get everyone rates us low? We are top 65 RPI right now. Yahoo says we r an 11 seed in the tourney.
Alabama just lost 3 key players. Selection comittee puts more stock on something like that than 0 or 1 road win in a season.
IMO Arkansas will make the tourney as will Ole Miss, but Alabama will be hosting NIT games.
As of February 19th, Bama's BPI is 27, MSU's BPI is 52, LSU's BPI is 81, TN's BPI is 82, OM's BPI is 93, Arky's BPI is 96.
At present, Bama is fourth rated SEC team and Arky is 9th rated. Just saying, Hogs have a little more of a hill to climb than Bama to get an at large bid.
There is a simple explanation for why Arky is so far behind Bama in every objective rating metric, and it is because the Hogs are 0-8 on the road and 0-1 at neutral sites. To show how awful that really is, you have to go to a team with an rpi of 200 to find a similar road record. Houston, at 223, is 0-7 on the road but ironically beat Arkansas in a game played at Little Rock (neutral site) this season. That is Houston's only neutral site victory.
Whooo piggg suehyyyy Razorbacks!

Yes, we lost our best player before the Houston game, we lost a senior last week, and had another senior injured for a few games prior.
The selection committee factors this in.

I hope not.
I mean, I'm glad he is completing his degree.

Who are your big guys besides Abron and Mickelson? Are y'all gonna go really small against us

Marvell Waithe
Sanchez
Brandon Mitchell.
That is it, Pel left us short handed and loved to recruit short guards.

I overlooked Waithe and am not sure whether Sanchez will play or not. Unless we get Green and Tony back, it looks like it'll be a game of 5 guards against one another

We actually did have 5 guards on the court at the end of the UTk game. We really need to sign another big.

Waithe and Mitchell are not really "bigs", Waithe is tall and we use Mitchell as a forward some.
Michaelson and Abron are the only ones with any low post skills, and both do not have a huge bag of tricks to pull from.

Grant loves these 6'6 wings. It may be what he's trying to do for the future, get 4 athletic taller guys and one big man on the floor.

Bama has lost two of its last three games after suspending its top two scorers and rebounders. Bama faced LSU with 8 eligible players.

And?
Suspensions are viewed differently than injuries.
Febuary/march matters much more than November/December as well.
