Elam is pretty much considered a hard hitter too. I'll take Reid' football knowledge and size over Elam.

Elam is a ball hawk. Just never saw that side of Reid besides the play against our TE and yes I call him a hard hitter because thats what I saw when he played Bama. Like I said, its no flame for him but we got killed in the super bowl for having two safeties that play in the box. We needed a Eric Reed coverage type.

So what do you want with the first pic in the second round. I would like either of the WRs from Tenn. Maybe a NG. The one from Ohio State.

i know this is the total anti-gump, but i'd take almost every LSU player on the board over who my jaguars have on their roster now

Reid took some suspect angles this year but he's got great measurables, he's very smart, and I really believe he'll be a great pro. Good pick for the Niners.
