Under the terms of the current deal, Elko will make $2.1 million annually, an increase of $300,000 from his first year in A&M.
Of the 1,056 assistant salaries listed in USA Today's salary survey for 2018, LSU's Dave Aranda and Clemson's Brent Venables are the only ones who earned more than Elko's current rate.

Nobody uses S&P to define a defense. Except you because scoring and total defense make Aranda look bad. If your scoring defense was great you’d be talking about it like lsu fans have done many many times in the past.
You had the highest paid CFB assistant in the game and were 7th in the SEC in scoring defense and not top 25 overall. Giving up 74 points in a game (lol) probably didn’t help but hey you can’t win them all

Where did the assistant’s defense that A&M is giving annual raises to rank in points allowed and yards allowed? Certainly not behind Aranda’s defense right?
