It's a damn shame he got stepped on. The LSU line was going to crush him on that play

That is among my favorite games I've ever witnessed. He busted his arse right in front of the LSU section and then there was great rejoicing.

When Devery scored to make it 17-7, the "Go To Hell Ole Miss" than ensued was louder than anything their fans had been all game.

Agreed. The look on their fans faces after that game was hysterical. They truly thought they were finally headed to Atlanta before the game.

I've never seen a fan base more jacked up for a game before or since. It was glorious.

That was one of the best games of the last 10 years. Ole Miss was the only team I saw that pushed LSU off the ball on both sides. I know we pick at Ole Miss about it, but they were really good that year.

Yet they only scored 7 offensive points. Didn't look like we were getting blown back on that last play

That was a fun game. Still wish College Gameday would have been there for that game. The atmosphere outside the stadium was crazy.

the pressure up the middle was insane. I miss it

03 defense would make 10 defense look like JV football

I don't disagree with that. I listened to that game on 780 and the LSU announcers were very nervous about how Ole Miss was winning their fair share of the battles at the LOS. I remember one of the saying "Ole Miss is blowing us off the ball on both sides right now".
