Oh no. That was just one of your threads. There was another where you were pleading with hackers to shut me down since you didn't get them to ban me from the board.

You're a terrible poster and a terrible person too. And you will eat cat poop.

Our offense is literally as non-gimmicky as it could possibly be. Gimmicks are what teams resort to when the regular offense doesn’t work all the time. We don’t need gimmicks

False. I didn't even know "Team Bunchie" was an actual thing. I don't join clicks, pio. I'm a one-man wolfpack.

You’re right. It’s not like other coaches won’t learn or can’t run at least some of it. And that’s a lot of it to hang your hat on. Will it happen? Yes probably. But how long? You ok taking that whipping for 5 years?

My Preseason LSU Prediction

Posted by BoarEd on 8/23/19

7-5. This prediction comes with a question. We know that LSU isn't going to tolerate a 5 loss season, but there's a problem. We also know that LSU Football is flat broke and has to ask the Governor for money all the time.

So, when they fire Ed Orgeron this year are they going to get the Governor to pony up for a big name coach or do you guys think they'll ask Les Miles back? I bet Miles would come back for a reasonable sum.

This guy is an idiot.

Here's a video summary of that prediction...

"system QB"

Whatever "System" ya'll had going with the 4 or 5 QBs that started for the Razorbacks in 2019...well, its a good thing the new HC and OC are going with a new system...0-8 in SEC play is not a good look...but, you can always remind people that AR is the only Team in the NCAA with hogs as a mascot...it's a signature sure perineal winner as opposed to the fact that Arkansas will never be...

The Saints have been running this "gimmicky" type system with that "System QB"...you may have heard of him, that QB named Breese...for quite a while...NFL DCs still haven't figured how to shut it down...consistently.

Good luck with your "theory"...sounds like evolution...that is, "The Theory of Evolution"...

Don't get me wrong here, he is putting together a pretty good little season, but I've never seen a better example of a "system QB". This is going to be the biggest problem for LSU in the title game. Venables is as good as it gets when it comes to gameplanning against gimmicky type systems.

Did you feel proud of yourself when Clemson was up 17-7? How were Venables' adjustments afterward?

quote:

Again, I'm not badmouthing Burro. He's done an outstanding job this season. It's just that I see Clemson proving to be much much tougher than LSU fans seem to think they will be.

Clemson played LSU much tougher than some LSU fans expected, but for how long?

quote:

Maybe it's just 44-16 sticking in my mind, but last year everyone was just totally sure that Tua (last season's "greatest QB ever) was going to beat the hell out of Clemson. Reality doesn't work that way though.

I wouldn't claim that LSU BTHO Clemson, but the Bayou Bengals did dominate the game after falling behind 7-17 and won by 17 despite a missed touchdown pass and taking victory knees in the second half.

quote:

Speaking of, why do we continue using the words "generational QB" or "generational talent?" It seems like every damn year there's some new player come along the likes of which we will never see again -- until next year. Then we hear the same shite again. And again. And again.

This is the only portion of your post that's decent. Several of the records that LSU and Burrow broke were set this century by a variety of teams and players. If offensive development keeps ahead of defensive development and future rules changes or enforcement further hurts defense, expect some of the records that LSU set to be broken within the next 20 years easily.

Also, I agree that recently there have been plenty of seemingly exceptional quarterbacks in the past 10 years. A huge difference between LSU and other past teams though is that LSU doesn't need a legendary or elite quarterback to get great results. If the LSU defense had been performing as well as they have after the Ole Miss game all season, then this team would seriously deserve some GOAT consideration.
