If Florida pays LSU's loss of revenue, sure.

There is a difference. LSU and USC didn't move prior to a storm hitting. South Carolina wasn't in Baton Rouge as their state was flooding. LSU wasn't in Arizona as a hurricane was making landfall. In both cases the impacts were already well understood.

So basically Florida could have gotten out prior to the storm and eliminated safety concerns that could have existed

LSU can play the game at U. Florida on Nov. 19th if they're not scared. Everyone knows this.

You're right. And since not playing on the road for 3 straight games was one of the reasons florida didn't want to move (you know before they switched to claiming safety as the priority), we can move the A&M game to Saturday and to Tiger Stadium. I mean, Texas A&M has the prior two weeks at home.

That way, no 3 road games in 13 days for LSU. No 3 straight road games for Florida. Texas A&M just loses one of their 3 straight home games. It'll also give A&M some time to recover from their tough game against UTSA.

Also, we're already moving away from the inane Thanksgiving game with A&M. Let's get rid of it sooner.

So it's only justifiable to move when the storm a already come through? Despite the fact that we've been watching this thing for a week? How is this a justifiable difference?

I agree. That would make the schedule tougher for LSU. But it could be done.

Not necessarily, but think of this from the perspective of the players. More than half had their families under hurricane warning. What if the storm makes landfall as they are in Baton Rouge and their friends or family needs help, someone is seriously injured?

Why should LSU be put out due to the manipulation of the UF AD and the complete incompetence of the SEC commissioner?

Can you address the contract cancellation payout LSU would have to make to S. Alabama, as well as the lost revenue?

For someone so invested in what LSU should do, can you try and be honest and address all circumstances?

But, according to UF fans, this wasn't the case until the decision yesterday afternoon. Why are UF fans changing their argument now?

So 2005 and 2015 every LSU and SC players friends and family were all set come kick off time? They didn't have anyone to help?

You're grasping at straws and you know it.

I think this can easily be compromised. S. Alabama can make some concessions, other SEC teams can help. There is revenue to be made in addition to playing in Florida. Nov. 19 is the obvious date for Florida to have their home game.

Yea and left not knowing what was gonna happen back home. If family would be dead, injured, were there living quarters gone. yea, go play a game and worry about your family later. Who cares if my mother is in a coma, who cares if my family is now homeless.
Had this happened a week ago and everyone knew the outcome, yea, I see that and Florida would have every obligation to play.

Asking a team to leave and go play when lives may be lost to their loved ones. Dam, I just ....whatever.

Of course not. But you don't see any potential issues or concerns of the team being in Baton Rouge watching a storm make landfall impacting their families and homes?

So flying the team out of Gainesville Wednesday before the storm or Saturday after the storm is putting the team in harms way? But askin LSU to fly into the storm on Friday while it was hammering the Florida coast is not?

What a cocksucking hack.

Teams move when this stuff happens, LSU did, SC did, what makes UF so special?

Well, ASU was not a conference game.

South Carolina was stupid. They did a south carolina. Nobody else but them would have said here, will move and oh, I'm sure LSu was more than happy to get another conference home game and the assessment of damage was done and ....ASU sucked.
For the record, Spurrier was pissed. He was told they would go to BTR and he promptly made up his mind he was done coaching a second rate school. It wasnt losing or whatever that was the final straw. it was this bullshite of moving the game to BTR. He was done with poor leadership and the SC AD not backing his stance. Spurrier never would have moved that game. He coached it and said I'm outta here.

What Florida teams relocated their games to another state?

UF still had this thing scheduled and all week long that was called reckless and irresponsible on here.

They're all getting played somewhere. Most still in the state somewhere. Why didn't UF have some sort of back up plan? I don't understand why UF couldn't accomplish what everybody else has done facing the exact same circumstances.
