What????
Teams move when this stuff happens, LSU did, SC did, what makes UF so special?
100% garbage, gives UF a clear competitive advantage.
University of Forfeit has their alumni writing disingenuous dribble for the mothership and presenting a story that in no way represents what actually happened between the ADs. I always knew he was a lousy writer but good grief.......

Florida wasn’t going to put its team or anyone associated with the program in harm’s way by moving the game out of the state and to Baton Rouge, as LSU proposed

Call it what you want, but if Florida was going to get this game back, it was going to get it at home.

Then, there’s scrapping it all together. This wouldn’t make either fan base happy.

How they are spinning this back on LSU is crazy. Foley is a snake, but good at it.

This is where Alleva not getting out in front of this thing is hurting perception. ESPN is STILL reporting that LSU refused to move the game to 11/19 when we know that conversation never happened. Just an all around shite show.

I honestly wouldn't have a problem if they proposed it and he did tell them no

These safety concerns are bullshite. Had this game originally been scheduled as an away game for Florida, there would have been nothing brought up of safety concerns for the Florida team traveling to Baton Rouge. Florida would have traveled to BR or taken a forfeit. Guess what option they would have chosen? They saw an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage on UT by refusing to accept any alternatives and ran with it. However, an SEC commissioner with any backbone never would have let what happened happen. Foley is a liar but Sankey is just a pushover with no ability to lead. I blame Sankey first and foremost. He could have nipped this in the bud Tuesday but seems like he just sat on his hands during these conference calls

LSU can play the game at U. Florida on Nov. 19th if they're not scared. Everyone knows this.

Kind of amazing they're still running with that considering Alleva has been on ESPN and called that story a flat out lie

yea,that's it.
Toss up over the most pathetic posters during this: Alabama or Texas A&M.
How about A&M play the LSU game on November 26?

Wait wait wait, they would be in harms way for moving to Baton Rouge?
LSU offered multiple days and times in Gainesville, and said if those didn't work we could also play in BR. That's all the power LSU has in the situation.
UF said no to both, didn't look for a backup site, neutral site, etc. It was either Saturday morning in Gainesville or cancel (which, surprise, also benefits them)

No we can't. LSU has a home game scheduled for the 19th

There is a difference. LSU and USC didn't move prior to a storm hitting. South Carolina wasn't in Baton Rouge as their state was flooding. LSU wasn't in Arizona as a hurricane was making landfall. In both cases the impacts were already well understood.

Who's called it a conspiracy? Pretty much been a consensus that Florida just didn't want the game to work. It's not a conspiracy at all
