Haha, well Odom is not black but he is a better coach than anyone on the Arkansas staff and if we hire him has a high probability of being the best hire made this offseason.

Reading through this thread its easy to conclude that the only people that think Mizzou is a better destination than SC...are Mizzou fans.

TCU can compete for the conference title. Missouri has shown they can win the east and get blown out in the SECCG when the top teams are down and also finish near the bottom like this year and 2012. Why would a coach want job where they know they can't compete with the top teams in their division and conference unless the top teams are down.

We at least have Odom which could be good.
We always speculate on the home run hire and it never seems to happen. Any of these names would have to want to leave their jobs and come to Missouri. The only one that knows anything is Mack and he aint talkin.

Odom would be Fayetteville now, if we'd wanted him. He seems like a great DC, but that doesn't make a great HC. It even wreaks of desperation a little, since he hasn't been there very long.
No offense, but the future could be very difficult for Mizzou. I hate to see Pinkel step down, because finding a coach who's capable of winning big in the SEC, isn't an easy task anywhere.

Mack Rhoades met with both Fuente and Herman tonight. Also a mystery candidate in Seattle. Maybe someone off the Seahawks or Huskies staff?

I live in Sweetwater/Wekiva about 10 min from Lake Mary. You do realize we are 35 min from an incredible beach at New Smyrna with one of the best two breaks on the Atlantic coast and we are also 20 min from Ocala National Forest and 5-10 min from the Wekiva Springs Reserve and the St Johns river, and Orlando, etc, etc.... Dude, except for wine country and the Ozarks in south-central MO the rest of the state pretty much blows. I've lived in most places in the US and our running grounds in north-central FL are pretty damn nice comparatively. Lots of great outdoor lifestyle there. I surfed and wakeboarded and dirtbiked and partied 5-6 days a week for years without going out of my way. And btw the girls there are in fricking bikinis 8-9 months out of the year. Oh and let me tell you... Don't expect to see any of that liberal racist "for us only black lives matter because you guilty of being privileged " BS going on in central FL. We're still good old boys. My two cents dude. I've seen all the US except a few parts. You can keep your totally underwhelming MO Midwest "lifestyle". Your only slightly better than fricking Mobilehoma and you know it.
