We've seen how Payton and the Saints react when they have a valued position coach on staff who they don't want to let go. Exactly how did they respond when Ed was leaving???

Um, they tried to keep their guy? Not very surprising since they've lost so many coaches this offseason.

They hired one of his old pals to take his spot.

Exactly. No further questions for the witness.

This is just a sad look, Bammers are so triggered by O and RTWFU that they've resorted to just making shite up.

Well, he was a DL guru.
No he was a really shitty DL Coach for the Saints. A former Saints DL even called Orgeron out on Bobby Hebert's show for the terrible DL techniques.
You Orgeron lovers can down vote all you want but that won't change what I heard with my own ears.

Why?
Ed O isn’t a coordinator. He’s only a head coach because LsU had no one else.
What makes him think he’s going to do better than an actual DC?

No one said O was going to run the defense, just that he'd be more involved.
I assume he'll be working with the defensive line more since our DC is a secondary coach by trade.

Damn LSU. Y’all sure miss Joe Brady.

If by guru you mean an abject failure at EVERY SINGLE COACHING STOP he has ever been at where he actually did the real, hands on coaching, yeah, he's a guru.
Is that what guru means now?

Surely he must've been fired many times then, right?

Saying that Orgeron is a guru of anything is like saying Jeff Banks doesn't like strippers and monkeys. Neither statement has any kind of basis in reality

That can't be a good thing. O is a recruiter, not a X's and O's type coach.
