I’d be more shocked if Shaw wasn’t 3rd. Jesus.

3 most overpaid outside excluding SEC guys:
1. Fitzgerald at Northwestern at #11
2. Frost for the Nubs at #17
3. Burt at Illinois at #31

Lesson: the B10 is willing to spend, but there really are only about 10 coaches worth big bucks & the B10 is not able to rob the SEC, simply overpay to try to fend them and each other off.

3 most underpaid:
1. Day at OSU @ 9. Should be #2. Stud.
2. Cristobal at Oregon @ 26. They better pay big or an SEC team is coming.
3. Traylor at UTSA at 91. Dude has done the impossible there. Will be shocked if he doesn’t go from $800,000 to 3.8 next year from someone.

Is America the only place on the planet where an utter moron can make this kind of coin?

It really is crazy how much FBS HCs make.

Terry Bowden being the lowest paid (reported) HC at 430k to manage a Sunbelt Conference team is nuts.

Jimbo at #7

Watch Jimmy Sexton go to work on his extension this time. EVERY YEAR Sexton feeds.

The cost of living in CA is why Shaw is up there.

Is that why Wilcox, Helton, and Kelly make that much too? Oh wait...they don't

What?

No it isn't.

If that's the case every pro athlete and mgr in San Francisco and Oakland would all be the highest paid athletes and mgr's in sports.

Shaw's salary is like making 250k in Alabama or Louisiana after factoring in cost of living
