Coach O said he liked Trump because Trump said he wanted college football to happen. That's it. End of story. But everyone has lost their minds over it.

No it's not.
Whether you agree with the players or not, many of these young black men view the President as racist and fomenting racial divisions instead of tamping it down.

I think they respect Orgeron and trust him but they may O's statement as insensitive at the least and condoning the President's actions and sentiments at worst. Couple it being on Fox where the commentary is extremely racist at times.

Because media and the left drive it without evidence. Just because they hate him and conservatism.

So to be more specific, the fact that people can be manipulated into thinking Trump is racist without evidence is what is wrong.

I don't think it's fair to ask coaches to be able to solve every single issue that comes up.

Most coaches are the type that throw themselves into their work and are taught to block out all the noise and focus on task at hand. That's how old school coaches are.

They are not trained policemen or trained in all racial and societal issues. It just so happens they coach predominately black players.

I've actually seen some Libs praise Trump over this.

So, they view the current president as doing what the previous president did, but now they are "hurt" by it and need to push it on everyone who wants to enjoy a game. That sounds very apolitical and unifying.

Any player that's willing to opt out over something like this should lose their scholarship.

What exactly are you expecting to happen? Aside from just vague “losing the locker room” bullshite

Why? That's ridiculous and immature on their part. They need to get away from groupthink. Marching for some thug like Jacob Blake is just ill-informed. If they are concerned about issues that plague the black community, march, but actually DO something. Take some time to educate yourself and stop marching and saying a bunch of thugs "names."

Maybe I live in a bubble, but I only see this from one side. My personal experience is that conservatives don't do this.

I expect it to continue. These things don't just go away. All it takes is a few people willing to placate the mob, and the mob will continue to push and push.

Wildcat Mike is one of the most childish posters on this forum. Just a pitiful troll looking for attention.

The woke/socialist agenda that has invaded sports and the marginalization of and hostility towards anyone who does not conform with it.
