Let’s not cherry pick. The SEC, which includes Auburn, has been far and away dominant in winning national championships this century. There have been and will be far more players drafted from SEC teams than teams from any other conference. “It just means more.”

Bama grinds them down. But they have got to stop starting so slow. Just run the fricking ball and stop with the early mistakes

Damn we know you hate bama , but Alabama has more talent than Indiana. Indiana is probably more disciplined and better coached but hasn't been tested nearly as much as bama. The big 10 is not a overall better conference than the sec no matter what you say . The bottom half of their conference is complete garbage and doesn't give any tough games . The bottom of the sec has Auburn at 1-7 and they probably have 5-3 talent . Kentucky is the only gimme win , the big 10 has 5 of those.

Bama is going to out talent Indiana. Let them haters hate. Already setting trends in this playoff. "Remember the Rose Bowl we'll win then". It literally in the fight song.

There’s a lot more to it than high school star ratings. This isn’t 2015 anymore when there wasn’t a transfer portal.

alabama is facing their biggest point spread as an underdog since 2007.

Ok. Why’s the point spread -6.5/-7 Indiana?

The way last night's game went indicates that I don't know anything about football.

Absolutely no one will be giving Bama a chance in this one, we win by a score.

Actually seems more like majority of the conference is in denial Indiana exists.

Yes and no.

Star ratings aren't everything... but they are A thing. The blue chip ratio has still held up every year since recruiting rankings have existed.

Every national champion since then has had at least 50% of their rosters be 4 or 5-star players.

Indiana has only 7 players on their roster who were rated 4 or 5-stars. They don't have enough talent to win it. They may beat Bama (like they beat OSU), but they aren't winning 3 playoff games in a row against a slate of teams that would likely include teams that are over 50% on the blue chip ratio. Teams like Bama, Oregon, UGA, OSU, A&M and Miami... the ones who do have enough talent to win a title.

Normally I’d agree but they appear to be an exception this year. I don’t think they beat Ohio State in a rematch, though.

Lotta words to say you haven’t watched Indiana play a game this year.

Bama has more talent, but they are better coached. There’s my analysis.
