The sound of falling concrete from the crumbling stadium adds an element of fear.

EA did us dirty and everyone who knows CFB knows it whether or not they will admit it. We broke the decibel record but yeah all those other places are more intimidating.
Hell after Oklahoma played at Neyland their own players and former players begged their fans and admin to make their stadium environment more like ours but they’re listed higher. Ask Baker about it.
It's so intimidating that, what's the record vs Bama?

Bryant-Denny is a tough place to play. Probably top 5-10. It probably doesn't have the acoustics to be as loud as some of the others, though. Still a great atmosphere. But,the biggest reason we've been so good at home is because the teams have been so loaded.

Since you made it Alabama, you all love to overstate the lack of crowd noise in BDS. I'm not sure the last time you've been there, but it's rocking
Yeah it's obvious, even our own fans, people haven't been to BDS in a while. The atmosphere is night and day compared to just 5 years ago

How many wine and cheese pairings does DKR need to trump 50K Utes?

This could be said of anyone playing BAMA recently but do I need to remind you we have beaten you more than anyone else over the years.

They probably gauged it during 4th quarters, not first.
Last time we played you at Neyland was so quiet. Gumps are fricking salty which says a lot.

EA was too chicken to do a real ranking and had to include non SEC/ outside the region teams. Only problem is they made this a game mechanic. Which as someone who has waited a long damn time for this game my enthusiasm has dropped immensely. They even used Nico to show off this mechanic (his passes went incomplete bc he is a first year who they think will be affected by noise at UGA).
This game is going from must buy to wait for a sale.

Alabama/Bryant-Denny shouldn’t be that high. It’s a tough place to play, but it’s not tougher than some of the ones listed below it, at least when it comes to the atmosphere created by the fans.
Alabama is just as tough a place to play as any of the other stadiums. I find these rankings dumb anyway. On a big third down all these places get loud AF. None are any different

The whole idea of ranking this is just click bait

Numbers have to be padded by the sheer number of FCS and little sisters of the poor schools aggy has played at home the past 12 years. Wonder how tough Pyle field would be if w/l vs P5/4 schools only were considered?
I mean hotel, food and visiting lockerooms being shitty are enough to make it a place you don't want to visit, but that's a far cry from making the game tough to win

BDS is tough, I just don’t think that toughness necessarily comes from how loud the crowd is or the atmosphere the fans create.
BDS gets loud for big games , especially when the outcome is in question . Saban made OOC and most conference games ho hum events though

When they're amped up and showing their teeth Tiger and Neyland Stadium are 1A and 1B and there really isn't anyone close to them.

No, , it doesn't say it's a ranking of best teams. Home field advantage can give any team, of any quality an edge. The size of that edge is the measurement. The size of that edge, however, doesn't always equal the highest win %, because it can only do so much.
In the case of Alabama, that is not an intimidating stadium in the least. It's overrated and the quiet blue hairs ruin the atmosphere. However, you've been the best team/program under Saban so you likely have the highest win %. Very little of that is attributable to your stadium environment
I agree for the most part but BDS's ability to get loud when needed is underrated. There were flashes of that this past year as last season had an unusually high number of really close in doubt home games (compared to the entire Saban era). BDS made a big difference atmosphere wise and was loud as frick when the Tennessee and LSU games turned our way. Same with the Texas game except we couldn't sustain it because they dominated both lines of scrimmage and our secondary couldn't keep up with their receivers. The crowd helped keep us in that game despite the fact we were getting dominated on the line of scrimmage.
