Yes, because I get all my Alabama football news and notes from the SEC Rant.

The only toss-up on him being ready for 2020 is if he has rehab setbacks. The only time 2020 was up in the air was immediately after the injury when they weren't sure what everything was

Written a week ago. The people paid to do this have no clue if he even plays next year, that's what complicates his decision.

What is the depth like around Dylan's position? I was genuinely wondering whether or not him coming back is a necessity or not.

We return both the true freshman that started this year and a 6th year in Josh McMillon who also tore his ACL in preseason. Lee has some work to do physically, but Harris is going to be very good. So, we go from 2 true freshman in 2019 to a very good senior and a talented and experienced sophomore with 2 experienced backups and 2 5-star freshman behind them.

It's a massive change.

Saban does things to benefit him and him alone, when Malzahn brought the HUNH he wanted it banned because of player safety. A year later he’s running the same offense, guy only cares about himself.

Good shite, didn't know Bama was so thin this year. Next year should be a return to form for that defense.

Totally forgot about Harris too, that was the other guy plucked from BR right?

How many dudes have to come back to balance your losses on offense?

The NFL guys who have talked about it anonymously say they've been told he'll be fine but lots still aren't totally sold enough to spend the same high pick they would have pre-injury. It's murky enough to make it not a totally solid proposition that he's a Top 10 pick.

The doctors have said his timeline is fine for 2020, but there is a chance for hiccups in rehab and that would make it more up in the air. That's pretty much been the company line for a month.

Honestly, this is why he’s coming back. What do you think saban would tell him if they were stacked? Let’s look at this realistically.

I think there's a pretty legitimate chance our offensive losses are Najee, Jeudy and Wills and everyone else is back.

But we'll see.

And I’m guessing you’re assuming Tua comes back near 100%?

No, not really. I think a lot of people are just assuming he does, but I vividly remember Prothro and others who had rehab issues.

I think it's possible he's back and good to go, but I'm not sold it's a sure thing.

I could see Smith coming back to be the man, but Ruggs and Tua need to be drug tested of they don't declare. You should never turn down first round money to risk injury. You can always come back to get your degree. I said the same thing about Devin White last year.

I’ll be honest, I’m surprised Tua will be able to play football again. A bad hit on that hip and it’s over.

Ruggs has apparently gotten some really mixed feedback.
