Tony Vitello was able to get one of the best pitchers in this class to campus. Reported to campus Yesterday June 9th. He can pitch and hit but Vitello bringing him in as a pitcher only. Throws left bats right.

Opponents batted just .097 against him and he recorded a minuscule 0.09 ERA.Loy struck out 169 batters and walked only 11, surrendering just 23 hits and one earned run while compiling an 11-1 record his senior season.

Loy could have easily been a candidate for 5Star Preps Offensive Player of the Year, as well. He hit .549 with 13 doubles, 35 RBIs and 31 walks. He struck out just one time in 120 plate appearances.

All American Dylan Loy

Apparently there is a real chance he comes back. His dad wants him to stay while his “NIL Agent” wants him to leave. Knoxville writer/insiders Tony Basilio is saying Burns is considering returning back to the Vols.

Was he not good enough to be a draft prospect or did he say he was not interested in going pro at this time?

That's a very rare combo.

You see a lot of righties who bat left but I think Rickey Henderson is just about the only major leaguer of note who was left handed but batted right.

Many thought he may not make it to campus. But with NIL these days, if you’re not a top 5 round pick May as well go to college for about same amount of money and better facilities.

Truly elite high school pitchers usually have eras under .50 having that low of
one means his classification of baseball either is very low or he’s the second coming of Roger Clemons .

none of this really means anything serranshit.

It just doesn't matter who the vols have on their roster, they'll lose any and all big meaningful games over and over, year after year like they have been doing since 1998.

Just give it up, you're frickin jinxed.

Pretty sure everyone knew he was coming to campus. Perfect game has him ranked at 500. And 105th best lefty pitcher.

I’m pretty sure they will take comfort in turning Tiger Stadium into Neyland Annex South. Or….maybe LSU wasn’t an important game?

What people think players are getting paid and what they’re actually getting paid are two different things. A high school top 5 round pick is getting a 7 figure deal. Not a single college baseball NIL deal is worth anywhere near that

They’re a 2A school so yes a low classification. He’s not even a highly rated prospect

Starting to look that way. I don’t think he signs fit the money slot value of the later rounds. I think Zane Denton is also coming back for his last year.

Also everyone thought Ryan Galanie wouldn’t make it to Knoxville after he entered the portal and committed to UT. He also looks poised to be headed to campus as he hasn’t been drafted in the top 10 rounds. With the kids drafted not signing, and Denton, Dickey, and Galanie coming back, not sure how Vitello going to keep everyone happy. Good problem to have for sure.

Matthew Dallas is rated 202 MLB prospect and told teams yesterday he was planning on going to college.

Actually it’s not. In Tennessee they only go up to 4A for Basketball and Baseball, and 6A in football. The high school he goes to
Has almost 700 kids. They played against Farragut and lost 1-0. If anyone knows anything about Farragut, they are really good in baseball in 4A which is the highest level of play in Tennessee.
