Drink thoroughly showed his arse this week topped off by kicking a field goal with 12 seconds after he decided his team was stonewalled at the goal line.

Your contention is that crowd noise doesn’t matter? This was with a 72,000 seat stadium with neither end closed in yet (just a ~25 row horseshoe on one end almost 30 yards from the field.

Mike Elko is NOT the kind of guy that would basically accuse another coach unless he out and out KNEW it to be true.
Sorry, but your discernment is severely lacking here. And you might also factor in Drink's failure to respond. No coach would just let such an implication go unchallenged unless he knew A&M was on to him, Think!
