He may replace Dabo as the biggest try-hard cheesedick in college football.

When I was in Kansas the K-State fans were all cool and the Kansas fans were all assholes.

It’s cool to have history in ones rivalry but Drink is right on this.

Let me get this straight, he tried to embarrass them at the end by running up the score but Mizzou didn't score again? Now that's embarrassing.

No. At the end, instead of an easy chip shot field goal for an easy 3, Missouri went for it on 4th and 9 and scored a TD

Kind of with you. I didn't think much of it or that it was really meant to be taken seriously.

Whatever it was... I freakin' loved it. The history behind Bleeding Kansas and Missouri is what makes that rivalry unique. And it is the one thing that is fascinating about it. Missouri should embrace it.

I said this in another thread but the irony of it all is that Columbia and the University of Missouri were a Union stronghold in the middle of one of the most pro southern areas of the entire state of Missouri (Little Dixie)...

The freakin' library at Mizzou was used to house confederate prisoners.

The University of Kansas literally was built out of the ashes of the Quantrill raid.

It is history. And it is the most incredible backstory of any college football rivalry there is. Nothing else is even close. And without that backstory... this rivalry doesn't get any traction outside of Kansas and Missouri.

Drink should realize that Missouri was the good guys as well as the bad guys back then. No matter which side you were on.

And for all you Confederates out there... The Lecompton government in Kansas was on your side. They gave it a good try for your cause to bring in Kansas as a slave state.

He was justified in everything he said. I can see why you guys hate Kansas now.
