The Defense is not deep, but it will be middle of the pack SEC. we had 2 unexpected safeties transfer in. One a senior from Oregon and the other our starter who started to flash last year but we suspended and then BO shockingly reinstated him instead of booting him. Perhaps we are finally SEC.

Will you guys have pass rushers this year? Missouri had stud pass rushers during the entire Pinkel era but it seems like they have dropped off since he left

Turner, Williams and Anderson will be fine as pass rushers. The issue last year was the time wasted letting Cross attempt to install Read 2 for the second straight spring and fall camp. He never got Patterson's run fits right and the pass rush was negated because teams were never behind the chains. It's going to be a multiple front approach with cover 2/3 and man 1 moving forward.

I like Lock and I believe he will be a NFL starter one day. I think he is more accurate than his completion percentage suggest and I think it will show with more talented receivers at the next level. I do think he is the best qb in the conference as well. That being said, I don't think he will get enough exposure for the Heisman because he doesn't play for a legit contender. The other leading candidates will likely play in those late season games with conference and playoff implications, that will garner most of the media attention.

Like Stafford, his completion percentage will never be super high because he throws downfield a lot

I’m telling y’all this dude’s the real deal at QB for the pro level and his accuracy stats improve every season: he satisfies all the measurables, he’s athletic, mobile, rocket arm what more do y’all want?! Can’t wait to watch this dude play, will be exhilarating

From a measurable and arm strength standpoint, Montana never was a no. 1 pick but his pro accomplishments and accuracy was so amazing and transcendent, when it comes to ideal QBs we’re talking about Elway, Jones, Unitas, Marino the great athletes with cannons for arms and elusiveness at least at this point for HS and college QBs

Lock isn't winning the hardware when his watching the SECCG on TV... and not getting the bama treatment into the playoffs.

The only QB close to Lock’s performance, Detillier said, was Georgia’s Jake Fromm. Others on hand included Washington’s Jake Browning, Alabama’s Jalen Hurts, Penn State’s Trace McSorley, Central Florida’s McKenzie Milton and Auburn’s Jared Stidham among others.
LSU's "King-Lord" Lowell Narcisse was supposed to attend, but couldn't find his way to the Nicholls campus in Thibodaux.
