arse hat, I'm not saying who should have won. Just don't keep jumping from place to place. Ingram probably wasn't the best player on Bammer and said so himself.

If Stanford had bammer's d then Toby would have run up way more yds than he did. You can't just go one way then jump to something totally different and retain any cred.

Or if Ingram had as many carries as Toby, he woulda cracked the 2 century mark and had more TD's than Toby had.

Because the best player was on defense. So the idea that the heisman only goes to the best player on the best team is trash if you want to say that.

If Bama got to face those crappy Pac-10 rushing D's that Standford faced then Ingram would've had an even greater season. As it stands, he'll just have to settle for rushing for 100+ yards on the #1 and #2 ranked BCS teams back to back. One of which was the top rushing D in the nation. If you want to blindly swallow a bunch of statistics that is.

Maybe so. I'm not saying he's not a good back I'm just saying the lame defense jumping from point to point is terrible.

Just say he should be in the discussion and move on. Saying he won the heisman or had more all purpose yards then Bo just make you look like you're trying to get me to date your ugly sister that has a nice personality.

Also.. taking into account the amount of carries.. Toby avg'd 5.45 yards per carry, while Ingram had 6.12 yards per carry.

And others are making an argument of a 4th year senior having 130 some odd more yards rushing than a sophomore in his 2nd true year.

Why do you guys feel the need to circle the wagons everytime the bammer in the thread isn't seen as the best?

He's probably not top 10 in the last 10 years, why is that suck a slap in your gump ego?

Go back and read, someone said he wasn't near the top in the last 20 yrs. Why do you or other Lsu fans do everything to discredit a good player instead of give credit due?

Ok.. gimme stats of 10 RB's who as sophomores, had more yardage, more yards per carry, less fumbles and more touchdowns. Or just more yards in a single season, with less fumbles, and include total offensive yardarge, because receiving is a part of the yardage.

last year's SECCG I even saw Florida's stout d-line getting pushed back 2 yards every time against bama's o-line. great o-line opening up holes for RB is a huge factor.

I wish we had one of those last year. Our DT's were far from all-americans. Servicable would be the label I placed on them last year.

I shutter at the thought of what UF's Dline is going to look like in 2 years.

Yes, but the DT position has been a struggle.

John Brown - basically kicked
Torrey Davis - kicked
injuries to 3 more

Gary Brown this year - could be kicked depending on how that works out.

We just haven't had much luck with DT in a while.

Dismissal. Classic.

I don't believe I ever mentioned Bo Jackson.
