Jerry is going try and draft Johnny as the eventual replacement for Romo.

I wouldn't be shocked if he tries to hire Sumlin away as well.

I don't like either of them as NFL QBs. But I expect Mett will go first. Here's why?

Two years ago it would have been Mett by a mile, but NFL offenses are really trending towards guys who can move.

Although this would tend to indicate Manzell, he's so small and such a weenie that most teams will shy away from him.

Mett has had character issues as well, but there is no evidence that he hasn't put them behind him.

Ultimately I'm going with the one who can throw well and see over the line - Mett.

But I do see Manziel going before Mett simply because of his media exposure. Again all of this could change, shite there's still 11 games left to play in the regular season.

I tend to agree with you on this, but Manziel could fall if his maturity proves to be a problem.

I don't know that Mett needs to drastically improve to up his draft status. If he can keep up the current pace, his biggest tweak needed will be completion %. Obviously red zone passing may be suspect, but we'll know more as the season progresses.

the only way i could see it is because mett is more pro style and definitely has the superior arm. if he has a great year then maybe. but im still saying manziel goes first.

Let's stay on subject. This thread is about Mett and Manzeil. Not you having a different opinion than others and labeling them as trolls.

People think Mett is going to get drafted?

I will Ban Bet with you that Mett gets drafted. 1 month ban bet.

Injuries nullify it however.

He's a qb, someone will probably pick him up in the last round. Though I think it's crazy to act like it's a given.

I don't think Mett will go ahead of Manziel at all, but he looked very good against TCU. His % being at 50 was due to big drops on great balls and a couple of smart throw-aways on screens.

He has the perfect size and arm strength and NFL scouts will LOVE that Cam Cameron already has a year with him.
