Does your team's main message board have the polarization that LSU's does?

TD.com became the most-visited LSU fan site years ago. Before that it was Tigerforums.com and before that it was TigerRoar.com.
It's always been a more outlandish place than those other two, but lately there have been multiple 70+ page threads debating Orgeron vs. Miles, or whether Orgeron is any good at all. These days it's just not good enough to say "Oregeron's been pretty good so far, let's see what happens this year". Nope. Everything has to be a debate.
At times it seems like paid pro-LSU propagandists vs. paid anti-LSU propagandists arguing endlessly to try to control the narrative.
Do your team's main forums have this phenomenon?

No. We all agree on everything, so it's a single post with all thumbs up. The next is a single post with all thumbs up.

These days, not really... Richt era, yes. Year 1 and 2 of Kirby Smart too... had the people who wanted Richt gone and were happy vs those who wanted him to stay, and then in year 2 had the Fromm vs Eason crowd...
Now, there's still some holdout arguments, but nowhere near as polarized.

This has been going on since the day Orgeron was hired. Almost every thread turns into the same circular arguments involving the same 5-6 posters and they will quite literally argue for days on end until a new thread is started, then rinse and repeat.

TD is truly the greatest college sports message board ever created. Not going to lump TD with Reddit because it's hard to compete with that. But as a niche LSU website and subsequently SEC website, it's second to none. Some said Shaggybevo and Texags are equal to TD but they are no where near TD level.

Tennessee's page within this site isnt very active. Volnation is active as hell but the people on there are so corny its hard to deal with. I used to really like the rivals boards back in the late 2000's but i finally just quit paying for it because the "mods and insiders" charged for this info and they essentially didnt know shite. They just gift wrapped guesses and info thats readily available everywhere in a paragraph or 2. Ive been under the impression rivals sucks now that 24/7 has kindve taken over. Not sure though. This board is good enough for me, i dont have as much free time as i did back then.

yeah but YOU can post there if you want. most likely you will get banned if you troll but that's the norm for literally every website.
If I went to Texags and posted the shite that gets posted daily on the rant I would be banned within seconds. Same thing goes for TigerRant.

Corny isn't the word I'd use. It's more like homers and lunatics with a few good posts thrown in every now and then. During the season, it's an insane asylum.
Outside of the main page, it's a ton better but the main football forum attracts extremes -- folks who are either entirely too negative or entirely too positive. Oh and morons -- there's always a healthy dose of complete and utter morons on everyone's main site that have to be ignored.

DawgPost was pretty divided during 2015-16, but I haven't read it consistently since the Scout/247 merger messed it up. Last time I went there it was absolutely dead, so I guess a lot of other people left around that time.
ETA: Just ventured back over there, and yes, DawgPost is dead. Almost all of the front page posts are by AirForceDawg from months ago. Fellow UGA fans, what is the main UGA site now? For the last year and a half I have just been reading the SECRant and the DawgRant on here.

Hogville has a terrifying degree of uniformity.
I prefer the Arkansas board here. A third of us think, well last season sucked let's see what we do but I don't think we will go 0-12. Another third thinks Aggie-Chad is the little known 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse and that not only will we go 0-12 it will be so bad they erase every Arkansas football victory back to the days of Hugo Bezdek.
The rest of think this will probably suck but I'm not going to say anything until we, you know, actually play a game or two.

This is the only place I've ever visited. I haven't even been to the Dawg Rant (if that's what its called) on this board. I'll take a look at it.
This SECRant is downright funny...I have a blast on this thing...all the mud slingin' back and forth...it's hilarious at times, but I also like a lot of the informative stuff that's posted here, too.
I prefer "mingling" with our SEC brethren, including the heathens from Florida and Auburn! :)
